Une belle image de la rivière Shawinigan qui est couverte en partie de glace et de neige. La prise de vue donne de la profondeur à la photo. Elle est claire et précise. La bonne luminosité fait ressortir les coleurs. Bonne soirée.

Splendid shot with wonderful detail. Lovely point of view and great composition. I like this kind of shot. It would look good in a frame on a wall! Exposure both of the snow and the river flowing in a pleasing curve through the image. Thanks for posting.

Hi Michel, nice capture of the river with the ice breaking up. The exposure is difficult with snow and with further complications from the light with well lit to shadow areas, but you've handled it all very well. The stream is interesting with it's curves and I like the background you have with the cottage or rural scene. There is something on the right (a large chunk of cement maybe) which is a little distracting. Maybe a shift a couple of feet to the left would eliminate this from the scene. Great shot though.

Cette photo représente tellement bien l'hiver, c'est très beau. Superbe paysage avec cette rivière presque toute gelée, j'adore le contraste avec les épinettes tout autour. La lumière est aussi très belle, on voit un peu de rose tout au fond. Merci Michel!

Hello Michel,
It is a fine sign when ice on the river is breaking up, or maybe this was never frozen..!
Anyway it is a good composition with the eye-directing diagonal, I notice the snow is exposed with skill...
Fine varied light and a lovely winter atmosphere!

A good capture of this frozen river.The current must be strong to keep the ice from freezing.
The shot is sharply focused with very good detail.
