What a cute bird and excellent model for this photo. The charming bird plays the role of photo model perfectly. Expression of its face is very nice as well as the quality of the shot. Une très belle réussite, comme tu dis elles ne sont pas facile à saisir toujours en mouvemnent où cachées dans les coins ombrageux, cette petite mésange est superbe d'une grande netteté, on dirait qu'elle a une bague d'idntification à la patte de droite ( donc la patte qu'on voit à gauche).

Hi Michel,

This chickadee looks a bit scared. I like the pose and it looks like the bird is ringed.The focus is a bit soft but I like the effect.

You had no problem with this one - the black is perfect with the eye just popping out of it. I love that eye! A beautiful Chickadee with wonderful colors and excellent details and textures. The face and plummage are superb. Lovely pose and background.

Hi Michel

A very beautiful capture from you, my friend!
I think the light here sets this shot apart and the fact that it's taken in low light conditions...the colors and contrast are much better then in regular situations.
The higher ISO isn't noticeable and so the details are very neat and sharp.
The catchlight in the Chickadee's eyes is a great bonus to the composition and so is the splendid uniform BG.
Wonderful work overall!

la pose de l'oiseau et le cadrage sont tres bon.
les couleurs du BG ideales pour mettre en valeur la mesange mais je trouve que vous auriez peut etre pu le rendre plus uniforme.

Il faut aussi dire que les petites mésanges ne restent pas en place très longtemps non plus, et quand elles le font c'est pour tourner autour de la branche! Mais ta photo est très très bonne et j'adore ces couleurs un peu marron, très douces et lumineuses en même temps. La pose de l'oiseau est très belle en plus et on dirait qu'elle a une bague autour d'une patte. Très belle capture de mésange, elles sont tellement pas faciles! Merci,

Well, I think it was worth the wait!
This little fellow has his eyes wide open with a very good reflected light!
The detail of his colours and the lovely texture of his feathers is very well portrayed!
I like the composition with him gripping tightly to a diagonally placed twig!
