Happy to hear that you are OK to deal with normal things. Surrising result i might say as the coyotes didnt piss off after barking. Maybe this courage keep them alive in LA and other western mega cities full of people and dogs.

Hello Rick,
You are a lucky feller (-: Two dogs in your vicinity and then still shooting a beautiful howling coyote. Chapeau. The POV, DOF and BG are oké. Natural colors. Have a nice day and TFS BOB

I would be so impressed seeing this scenery for real... This is an incredible moment to live. I'm amazed by this picture so can you imagine how it could be if I was there for real? Beautiful, congratulations!

That is so cool and you are indeed very lucky to get so close as to get good images of the wild ones.....I have had no such luck. while moose seem to be invading Spokane, the coyote stays out on the refuge and grassy plains...I can hear them every morning...even as in a few minutes ago...but they stay far from the city limits...only a few hundred years away..

Hi Rick,
I enjoyed your notes as much as the picture. If I get a dog again I'll ask you how to train him. He seemed to forget his name when we called him. I never left him outside alone because of these coyotes. A wonderful capture of this one howling and a great title. A perfect setting for him.

Hello Rick,
I just wonder what would have happened if you'd let your dogs loose!! (WHat kind of dogs do you have?) You were certainly lucky to get this great capture while holding on to your dogs! Very fine and well-timed shot, great details and I like the colours in this composition.
Many thanks, Ulla

Hello Rick,
A beautiful animal and the moment is well captured!
Nice background story, and I wonder what might have happened if all animals (read: dogs) were free to do as they like...
A well composed presentation, with attractive colours!
Greetings,
