I realize that one reason you are so danged good at your bird photos is that you stick primarily to one lens and one type of subject. I'm never going to be really good at this hobby because I am all over the place. I move between several lenses and all kinds of subjects and my mind is a constant muddle! Another reason that you are so good at this is that you have a real talent for it and also have worked hard at it.

The details in this shot are wonderful and the soft colors beautiful.

Hi Mario,

I loved this little bird the first time you showed him to us and I love him still. He is so cute and fluffy and even more so with the snowflakes on his face. The colors are wonderful and the details and textures of his face, eye and plummage are superb. What a beautiful setting.

This is an exquisite presentation!
I like a lot the sharpness of the image, it really gets the best of the bird's plumage.

Congratulations for taking such a great shot of this rather rare Boreal Chickadee...i'm sure you were pretty happy to find it and take such nice shots of it, too :)
I really like the pose here and the fact that the branch is not sideways, but coming towards the camera...this adds depth to the shot and it makes it original...quite refreshing :)
Aside that, the details are again terrific and the fill-in flash worked great in getting some more out of the darker areas plus also giving you that excellent catchlight.

Outstanding picture of the amazing scene. Subject is really cannot be better as well as the POV, framing and composition. I am impressed with exposure of the entire imabe, extreme sharpness and details of the bird and nice twig patter. Bravo.
