Beautiful capture for you aswell as the cormorant Doug.
Love the composition with the trail in the water.
Most wonderful details and reflection on the water surface.
Only thing I would personally have changed is a small crop of top to get as much space above the cormorant as there is on the lower side, but that's just my opinion ofcourse.

What a great timing you had to capture this action shot. Good focus and I really like the reflection in the water and mostly all these little drops coming down. Beautiful effect and it adds so much to your image!

I took similar photos last week - my cormorant caught a baby flounder - I thought it was a leaf until I saw the photo on my PC.
Good capture Doug - it isn't easy getting them into focus as they move so quickly.
The reflections and water drops have come out really well too,

Very good action picture. I'm always amazed by this kind of job :)
I like the POV showing the trace on water after the cormorant. And also I like the reflection on the water.
Sharpness is not bad and colours are nice too.
