Hello Lise,
Great image with excellent focus and exposure resulting in a wonderful in flight capture. Today Lucy and I saw four Snowy Owls all within a couple of kilometers of each other. They were quite far a field but we watched as little Horned Larks attacked one, then we witnessed two Snowys having a bit of a tiff. We did get some very long range images but I don't feel they are good enough for here. You series has just been incredible Lise, thank you.

Is there just one snowy there at Mirabel? I've noticed several folks have shot there. I'm wondering if it is all the same bird or if there are several there. This is a great action shot. You managed good exposure on all the whites. Nice work. What a great opportunity to photograph such a spectacular bird.

Very good on the long wingspan. Lise...I think your settings with the higher ISO really help. These do not seem to work with my D200.
I also think the composition with the owl on right, and snow drifts is so perfect for the upload.
