Hi Eugene,
I can imagine that it's hard to forget the desperate scream of the squirrel just before it died when it was cought by the fox, but on the other hand, you knew something like this would happen and you might have been a little prepared.
Although it's quite a cruel scene, it's good that you show us how hardwildlife can be.
You've done a great job by staying there make shots of the scene and show them downhere on TN.
Cruel or not these are the kind of shots we are going out for sometimes and, atleast that's how I think about it, are pleased to come home with.
I suppose the squirrel did hide itself in/under the snow looking at the hole underneath the fox.
Don't know if you have, but when so, would also like to see an image of the leeping fox junping in the air to dig the squirrel out.
Exposure, details, sharpness and clarity are all superb.
Perfect job you've done here. TFS!!!
Best regards, Harry

Hi Eugene,
great capture in every way possible.Animals hold no malice when they kill for food or to protect themselves or young. The only species that kills for fun is our own.A great dynamic photo and I thank you for sharing this reality with us all.I have a large post of a fox bringing home it's kill if you are interested, let me know what you think. Hello Eugene,
Excellent capture of nature in action! when you witness such scenes you are in a confusion as to sympathize with whom, the poor squirrel which became the food or the fox which is in need of food.:)Good focus, sharpness, details and exposure.
Thanks for the share,
Smitha.
