[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today after work I decided to take a walk east of the Center Street bridge and have a look to see what might be in the river here in High River. The name of our river is the Highwood River so named for the steep banks along it's length except right here in High River as this area was used for ages as a crossing point through the river and later via bridge, else where it would be dangerous to try and cross the river with steep drop offs and cliffs.I was happy to see the Canada geese today and happy to have the opportunity to snap some inflight shots as was my aim.The geese have been making their way back from the south for about a month now and I'm happy they are safe and sound.I hope you like my time of the season photo of these common birds and their return.PP was done with Paint.Net. Bob

Bob, Very sharp, great exposure and wonderful timing, They might have just left here, I went by the lake today and the geese were gone. The Pelicians were still there and we will be sending them home soon.

Scott

hello Bob

a great close-up shot of these Canada geese, fine POV,
excellent DOF, great density of the colours, excellent sharpness
and details of the geese, for the framing Bob, in my personal taste
(dans mon goût personnel) i would give a little more space
at their back and a little more at their front, just a little more,

Hi Bob

Wonderful shot, nicely composed with a superb pose of the Canada Geese formation flying, very good detail and excellent DOF and POV, the colours are perfectly saturated and a beautiful warm light, and nice light in the eye too.

Hil

Hello Bob,
Excellent photo of this flying Geese. Not easy to take such a shot. You got them in excellent sharpness and details. Great colours and DOF. Very special POV.
Regards,
Peter

My goodness.... that is really sharp! Great panning. It is unusual to get two birds so sharp in one image. It is interesting that you are looking straight across to them and not up. It is an effective image. Nice work. Every day long V's of Canadian Geese fill our skies too.

Hola Bob.
Verdaderamente esta es una muy bella foto. Los Gansos volando uno sobre el otro son una belleza. El fondo difuso, y la gran calidad de la foto permite ver sus atributos, y lo mas valioso de la foto, es la dificultad para lograr esta fina captura.
Saludos Bob.
Luis52.

AWESOME inflight shot! WOW - not just one but two and both are so well done! Excellent!!!!!!!!

Hello Bob

A super in flight capture of these iconic Canada geese.
The fly by poses are wonderful I feel I should be standing up and saluting them as they pass.
Excellent clarity and sharp focus.
The colours are rich and well saturated.
Very good POV and DOF.
TFS

Rob
