"CARIBOU".

With a pair of horns of that size and weight any Caribou would naturally become TIRED.

I had posted a few details on the subject a few months ago on my posting entitled "A TIRED CARIBOU".

The fellow has six females to choose from. Have always seen him eating & eating some more, nothing else..... ???? I do visit his pen often, at least once a week.

Hi dear Mario,
Simply great picture of the majestic animal. All is perfect. Pictured specimen and its impressive pose, outstanding composition and framing of the image, amazing DOF, sharpness and details, nice rich colours. Bravo, my friend. Excellent work.

Wonderfully strong animal....what a pair of horns! WOW!
Just a testimony to the "awesomeness" of Creation!

Hello Aires. Nicely written note and I can see why it is tiring to carry it around all the time. I have never seen one up close so thanks for sharing this image here. Excellent sharpness and perfectly exposed for us here in TN. Nice framing and very well done. Have a wonderful day ahead. Regards. Jusni

Hello Mario,
I remember when walking in the mountains as a kid, I was sometimes lucky to find antlers from reindeer!
This guy has got a fine set showing he is a senior indeed...
A well composed presentation with good details!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Mario !
It'sbeen a long timesince I last visited your gallery, I see you have added manu more beautiful pictures. I like this one, because the 'horns' of this deer are huge and really impressive, they must be so heavy for him ! You made an excellent capture, with excellent details, natural colors, beautifuk composition and POV, and nice pose of the animal. Very well done !
Valerie.

Hi Mario

Lovely shot of the caribou. Those antlers are very impressive. Lovely sharp shot with dreat details.

He does look a bit sad, perhaps it is the lack of females
