Hi Rick. A good close up of the Moose. i think you surprised him by the look on its face. Your picture shows the head so well with the big ears. good detai l and colour in the fur. and the bumps as you call them. well done TFs. I will look out for him again.

I was reading your notes when I saw that you started to shoot! Duh - I was thinking of a gun. You were really close! The face and textures of the coat are wonderful. Good thing for you that you had "the boss" with you.

The pinpoint white dot..in the middle of the eye..perfectly centered. I feel as though I am in a gunfight in the old west...and watching the eye for a thought to draw...wow...cool...I love analogies from picture to word..

Wow Rick, this would be so cool to see and be able to photograph. I'll bet you were having fun.. I didn't know that about the lowering of their ears. I hope to be able to use that tip someday. What I like are those eyes of his, you are in focus, you can almost see your reflection there. Detail on the rest of the moose is good too, with that course fur of his, and with great colour.

This is simply a beauty, another baby moose. It looks so soft and gentle, the big ears are fluffy. Lucky the big boss is there to watch upon you, I'm sure it's not the first time but I can understand that you forget about everything and plunge into the excitement of the picture. I love the "look" in the eyes.They tell a story about the mindset of this moose at the time of the shot.
A wonderful capture with the high alert ears.
The POV is amazing.This guy is wondering what on earth is this photog doing.

In spite of strong cropping you managed to create a very cute portrait of the fine animal. DOF and reproduction of all its features are perfect as well as the nice reflection of a pore dry vegetation. Well done and compliments.
