Today I have for your viewing pleasure "Goldeneye Fly-By"
On the day of this photo I was standing next to the Highwood River with not much happening when out of the corner of my eye I spotted these two ducks coming in for a landing on the river. This year I have had many opportunities to capture inflight birds and would like to photo every species of duck doing so as it gives an idea of what the dynamic is for each species in flight and how their wing plumage patterns appear as it is not alway possible to see when they are on land or water. This capture is of a male and female couple and it was so neat hearing their whistling wings as they came in.Whoever originally name these birds goldeneyes sure picked the right name for them because those eyes even in flight can not be missed.I hope you enjoy these little ducks as I do.PP was done with Paint.Net. Bob

Hello Bob,
Fine duck action has been captured!
I like the imaginary diagonal between the two, a well composed presentation where the motion blur in the wingtips is a fine details!
Greetings,

Hi Bob,

Very good in flight capture of these two lovely ducks.
Beautiful colors and contrast.
Excellent work on exposure showing all wonderful detaisl perfectly.
I also love the square format of the frame very much and the movement in the wing tips wich do give the scene a wonderful sence of action.
The ducks do stand out greatly against the color tones of the sky.
Very well done. TFS!!!

Best regards, Harry
