Hello Claudine,

It's the same in the Netherlands.
Although winter overhere is'nt as hars and cold like overthere in Quebec, we also are glad that teperatures are a little over 10 degrees Celcius again flowers pop up and birds start singing again early in the morning ;-)
Beautiful image of one of the most wonderful birds I've ever seen.
They in the Netherlands are by far not as common like they are where you live, but it's always a great sight to spot one :)
Lovely pose of the bird. Excellent calrity and beautiful colors and details.
Great how you've captured the Waxwing in it's natural envoirement naturaly framed by the branches out of which the new leaf start to grow.

Seeing your work after a long time.
So the spring has finally reached you.
The Waxwing you have shot at the beginning of spring holds the promise of many more similarly beautiful pictures from you.
The image is technically superb with skillful use of ambient light. The colors are heavenly.

Can you please tell me how you remove noise selectively? Many notes mention it, but I have never been able to understand how they do it.
I have PS CS2 and 3.

What a wonderful image to celebrate spring, the soft oof background is stunning with the touches of blue, the reds and greens of the Maple tree’s buds, and the soft pastel colours of the Cedar Waxwing, all adds up to and wonderful feast for the eyes, the lighting is superb as is the detail, really well framed and composed.

I'm glad to see Spring has finally reached you, it's already like summer down here :-) This is very good considering the big crop, I see no pixelation that usually comes with strong crops, on the contrary detail is very good. As always technical details are good. You have a good eye for composition and POV, the POV has provided a really warm setting, from the soft colours in the background to the contrasting reds. A very nice image of this beautiful bird, no nits!

This waxwing seems to be posing for you! The background colors seem to blend in with the colors in the foreground, really making this an amazing shot. It shouts spring. The colors are so wonderful, especially since they meld together to create a wonderful ambience. I can't sing enough praises about this. Thanks for sharing such a spectacular photo.

Bombycilla species are very beautiful birds. I like to see them. B. garrulus is very rare bird in Northern Turkiye. I think this genus's bird very familiar in your country and one of the most popular birds on TN. Your capture excellent from sharpness and POV/OOF to lighting and coloration. Rentrée depuis peu du centre de rééducation, je n' ai pas encore eu le temps de prendre des photos, mais mon mari s' en charge, malgré ses soucis de santé encore plus denses que les miens!!

Super shot of the waxwing and what better than this one to annouce the arrival of spring.I love the colours displayed in his habitat and the pose struck by the waxwing himself.Quite elegant with that head held high and you managing to get the catchlight in the eye.
