Hi Asbed,

I like the male even better than the female! The pose is so cute with the rear view and the tail feathers up in the air. Nice colors and that red eye really stands out. Looks like someone put a toy wooden duck in the tree - kidding, I know he's real. Nice composition on the horizontal branch. Too many leaves on the trees down here now and it's hard to get clear shots of the birds.

Your funny Asbed...You always look up and Jane who frequently sees your images does the same...do you have a satellite up there and she can see you?! Nice image of this canard....you are quickly becoming well known...and now that I am think and typing...has anyone seen Mario Belanger lately?????
Bob

Hello Asbed. You are lucky to have the pair in your collection. This more beautiful male is well perched on the branch giving very pleasant perspective. The flower is an added bonus to the blue sky. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Hi asbed,

what an beautifully duck this male.
good of sharpness and this sitting better than the female from yesterday.
good work.

Regards Gert

Hi Asbed,
Well it is funny that you post this, because yesterday I just took a few of the male and female.
You have it in a tree which is perhaps the best way to describe how wood ducks are one of the only who nest and perch on trees.
Good colourings.

Asbed,

How nice to see a wood duck in its natural habitat. I've only seen them in water and never in a tree. Very nicely done.
BTW, thanks for your comments.

Best Regards,

Martin

Hi Asbed,

Excellent capture of male Wood Duck. Strange ducks to go so high in the tree. Nice composition, pose and colours. I made a workshop, hope you don't mind.
