[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This kinglet and others were the most difficult birds I have tried to photograph. They never stay still.I saw so many of them today, but to get in focus before they flit off was a chore.
I know the tail is behind here, but the position of the head is what I liked.
Thanks for all the comments on the hummingbird.

Hallo Doug
You have captured this Kinglet in a wonderful close up pose. It looks like a mischievous and squint looking little bird. The different colours of layered plumage are lively and the details of the thin beak and big black eyes with its white circle are displayed well. The framing and composition are lovely. A pleasant image with great natural colours and light. The colour of your background highlights the details of the bird well. Thank you very much for sharing. I enjoyed this one, as this is a lovely bird. Kind regards
Anna

Hi Doug.
You managed to create a very colourful picture of so nice scene. I like how well you have frozen the beauty. Details of the bird image are very good and its pose is so attractive. Surroundings are presented wonderfully too. Bravo.
Alexei.

hello Doug

not easy to shoot in photo such little birds that are always in movement,
fine POV and DOF, i also love the vertical framing after looking
