[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This surprised me to see the colour of this hare in spring. I expected it to me mostly brown by now. I have no idea what it's food source is at this time of year. I'll have to chase it a few more times.

note: focused slightly

Hi Trevor,
this little hare looks like it has posed just for you and it sure is an attractive little creature. It takes time for them to change to their more brown colour and you have not been snow free for long as of yet anyway.I rather like this sharp and clear photo of this one and the colours look very natural as well. Those dead leaves and mosses add much to this photo too. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Bob

very informative shot. It was a hard struggle for the hare getting through the past winter.
good captured. TFS

Hi Trevor,
You don't often see hares here. I don't know why:-). You managed to capture a very "sharp" one.
The branch is maybe a bit distracting but you can see as one of the many foreground branches in the image.

Hi Trevor,
I missed this one.
This is an amazing shot! You got lucky to get this lovely rabbit with his big feet.
Lovely natural colours and composition.
Very well done.
