"INDIAN PEAFOWL".

This is an Indian Peacock. (Pavo cristatus) But, the Pavo muticus, also Asiatic, is the Green Peafowl. The latter being a lot more colourful.

You can read all about the differences here.

It is not easy to register the whole male peacock when it is doing its sexual courtship dance within one frame simply because it is so very huge; that is why I'm showing you, here, only its portrait. HOWEVER, if you want to see the REAL McCoy you have to start clicking these numbers.

Hi Mario

Hope you're doing well my friend. This peacock portrait was just the thing to train my eyes to wake up this morning. It stands out well against the beautiful evenly coloured BG. An outstanding and flashy bird, maybe a little soft, but impressive never the less and very colourful.

Take care, well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Namastay Mario,
A nice captured portrait of this peafowl. Good details and composition I also liked the 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 versions. Very good notes. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Sincerely
Haraprasan

Hello Aires, this is fantastic, what a bird you are showing us! The emerald colour of the head is superb and it looks like a woman in the 18th century going to the ball. What an aristocrat, thank you Aires, superb notes and picture,

Francine

Hello Mario !
Wow, what a wondefful bird ! I love its metallic colors, green and blue, like some jewel ! :-) Maybe the picture is a bit soft, but this is not very disturbing, as there are many other qualities - beautiful composicio, nice POV, excellent blurred BG, nice pose of the bird, and it stands out very nicely on the BG. Very well done !
Valérie.

Hi, dear Mario.
I made short pause because of hard work on PC last time. You and other my TN friends give back me to TN-life.

Very nice but a bit soft portrait work of wonderful bird. I like POV, framing and composition of the image. They are classic for this kind of photography. Light and colours palette are so nice and pleasant to eyes. Thanks a lot and my kind regards.
Yours Alexei.
P.S. We have holidays till 4th May. It is great time of hard work on my projects at home.

A nice portrait...and that's what I think of a portrait. THis fine Peacock shall go down in history! :)

Hello Mario,
A lovely portrait of this fun fellow!
With a headgear like that he will always have the attention of the crowd, hehehe...
