"BLUE DORIS LONGWING".

There are two types; the other one is the "CRIMSON DORIS LONGWING" already posted HERE.

I once knew a gal named DORIS LONGWING. She was an Indian, Native American...and 4th generation full blood...I wonder now if she was named after this fine image Mario...Looks like they are coming back up your way my friend...but some cooler weather come once more perhaps?
Bob

Hello Mario,
I notice that your longwings have different wing patterns!
And they are unknown to me as I don't think we have them here...
I like the composition with the diagonal twist of the subject, the fern works well as background as it takes little attention away from the insect!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Namastay Mario,
A nice capture of this beautiful blue doris. Excellent composition and details. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Sincerely
Haraprasan

Hi Mario,
Wonderful shot of this beautiful butterfly with very impressive sharpness and colours on its wings. The green fern looks nice as BG and you have captured a fabulous open-winged pose here. Superb lighting and exposure levels. Excellent POV and a very nice diagonal composition. Kudos.

Hi Mario.
Once more wonderful shot of the beautiful butterfly on very impressive twig. Square cropping is so suitable for the scene. Exposure and colours are spot on as well as the details of all attractive objects. Bravo. My hearty wishes and TFS.

Hello Mario !
After the red one, it's nice to see the blue one, I think they are both very beautiful. You managed to capture this beauty with many details, natural colors, and I also like the composition with a lot of space around the butterfly. The fern he is sitting on is beautiful also. Very well done !
