| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi folks , todays efforts turned up this pair of beaver's , I am not really sure if this is an adult and Kit , or a pair of mates.
I have been watching this area knowing that they where here , the other evening I heard the familiar slap of a tail on the water as I was walking by it was right around sunset. mostly they do not come out till the sun is very low in the sky , this area is frequented by many people so it is not likely that I will ever get to see these two up on the bank any time before night fall. I have located some tracks farther up river though that may see a more complete picture.
after this shot I made a try at getting around the shoots of grass but startled them when I moved , they came back out of their lodge in about ten minutes , it was kind of neat to see cause I could see the bubble trails from both of them as they swam to the log that they surface at.
I will be seeing more of this pair over the next few months.
hope that you like it.
Regards

Hi Art
Well done in capturing these two...look forward to seeing more of them. It is exciting to get the shot in their natural habitat!
Cheers

Hello Art, I sure like this picture and the interesting notes too. I really like that you captured both of them in water, from their side, it's almost a silhouette. I will follow the pictures of them if you post some more for sure! By the way, I think the light is real nice in this picture, thank you!
