[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was one of many of the swamp birds today that was chasing a Red-Winged Hawk away from it's nest. This is the male (the protector). The female is all brown. She changes to a darker brown in the Spring and Fall.

Nice capture.. I think these are hard to photograph. Very interesting the female is all brown.. I wasn't aware of that..
