Hi Roger,
this is a nice one and has good colour and well focused details with a soft background.I rather like these little woodpeckers and thank you for sharing this view of him. Bob

Talk about a unique picture! This is definitely something you don't see everyday. That's a very cool composition with a very nice background, great detail and an awesome pose. Great work.

Hello Roger!
The picture doen not have perfect DOF (some parts are a little out of focus) but this is still a great documentary photo! You were really lucky, it is very unusual image as woodpeckers usually prefer trees :)
Very nice composition and colours too.
Best regards from Poland,
Radomir

Good POV Roger!
I find these very difficult to capture, so I appreciate the way you presented this.It is a rare shot for me to see, as they are usually seen in a tree.TFS

Hey Roger
A nice cute one here of the woodpecker with great muted BG that sets off your beautiful subject.I love its pose as if it's telling you, "no i'm not looking back", but yet managing to steal a glance at you:).A lovely cpature.

Witaj.
TFS and regards.
Alina
