I've never seen a beaver in the wild, until I saw this guy sitting quietly on shore. He entered the water and swam in a circle, hit the surface with his tail a couple of times to warn me to stay away. I just stood still, took a couple of pictures and then left him alone.

Very much congrats....I think that many of the TN'ers are on a short trip with good weather...I can feel it too here in my blood...'Go out and take photos"....so you have a lot of looks but few who are old timers or even close...because this photo is so spot on....it is a publishhable image for sure...Very nice and I am happy for you having seen it in this fashion as described in your notes!

Hi Lise , very nice photo of the beaver , I have seen quite a few beavers , but have never gotten a picture with such clear water that is really great. you have very nice detail and color , as well good point of view . TFS
