[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Folks , today I have a grasshopper , this one found on the river rocks was very cooperative in having its picture taken.

not sure of the exact name to this grasshopper I tried on my favorite id site , every name I tried had no image or write up , trying just a straight search I could find less common ones but not this type which is very common.

I have never found the exact name of a species to be all that important to me , but I do like to find them for my notes here on TN .

I find that even with a common insect it can be very interesting to photograph , to put the file in my computer and be able to view this small creature in such detail and magnification. I am anxious for spring to proceed a bit to see more insects and plants to photograph.

It is not easy to get a good shot at this dark and well camouflage insect. You did well. Sharp and clearly seen image. Well done and TFS.
