Hello All,

I missed a lot of great shots on TN lately but I am just too busy to sit down and write comments. Maybe I'll have a bit more time on the weekend...

I've decided to post this shot of a Female American Redstart. This one was moving from tree to tree feeding and looking for a place to build a nest. I'll post that picture once I get more time to process it. I was really pleased with the way this picture came out. Honestly, I think this is one of the best pictures I have ever taken of a small, fast moving bird. Hope you like it.

Best Regards,

Martin

Hello Martin,
Great pose and POV here mf, nice catchlight.
Natural looking color without a hint of over-saturation.
Excellent DOF, details, and use of the ambient light as well.

Hi Martin,

Many thanks for the feedback it's really appreciated, mate you have some wonderful shot in your gallery, this is beautiful excellent detail in the feathers, great catch light in the eye, really stands out well against the soft grey background, framing and composition all perfect, all the best,

Cheers Rick :)

Very nice shot Martin. If it didn't have the yellow I'd say it was a Boreal Chickadee. I like the fact you have the focus on the eye. Good side portrait as well. Nice to see. TFS Trevor
