[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I have a photo of a Tree Swallow for your enjoyment. These birds are common in the area I live at this time of year. They are one of the most difficult birds I have to yet to get a decent capture of as they are usually very animated and are usually flying.Like most birds in the spring they are busy making nests and courting one another so a photographer has a chance at getting photos of them. Both the male and female birds look much alike however first year females are a duller looking bird plumage wise as my workshop photo shows, but still very attractive looking just the same.I have a shot of one of these little birds after it caught an insect off the water surface of High River's local lake named Emerson Lake in the workshop as well. PP was done with Paint.Net.The weather conditions were cloudy at the time of these shots.I hope you enjoy these swallows as much as I did. They are about 15cm or six inches long and are amongst the best fliers there are. Bob

Hello Bob,
A fine capture of a Tree Swallow from a good level and great POV. The sharpness, colours and composition are excellent. I find these guys are difficult to photograph in sunshine but this one taken on a cloudy day gives just the right lighting.
TFS this beauty,
Ivan

Hallo Bob,
Sehr nettes und klares scharfes Bild der Schwalbe. Die Haltung, die Sie sich verfingen, der Blickkontakt mit diesem Gefährten, Farben und Belichtungssteuerung ist sehr gut. TFS Selen

Hi Bob

Precious little bird. Great close-up! Good details and interesting positioning. Perfect dof.

Hello Bob,
Congratulations for capturing this elusive master. I have also come across several of them, but so far have not been able to take a decent photograph. Your picture is excellent. Fine POV and pose captured. Good sharpness and details. Nice blurred background.
Thanks for the share,
Regards,
Smitha.

Hi Bob,
Another interesting bird from you .Infact i had never seen swallows until this spring. They came in hordes and was quiet noisy in the nearby vaccant plot. I hope i can see them again some time soon.
This is a nice and interesting capture of the busy bird. Nice details on the plumage and good colours. That catchlight in the eye looks quite nice.Very well done.
TFS & Cheers
