You are right - this shot is very good. I like the pose, colors, details and composition. It is interesting to see those birds in trees. Wood ducks are not as common in my area and there isn't enough of them around to see in such places. That's why I have enjoyed every shot that you posted showing wood ducks in the natural habitat. Very nicely done. TFS.

what a handsome fellow is this wood duck.I like this photo as it shows just why these ducks have their name what with him being perched in the tree as he is.A nicely focused and clean shot of the duck taken in a good spring light and best of all his red eye is so very vivid.Thanks for giving us this view of mr. wood duck he sure is a good looking fellow.
