"BIRD OF PREY". = "SNOWY OWL".

Details can be seen HERE. This 'unintelligent' species KILLS only for food; not to store it into freezers, not for money, not for real estate. There is no waste in NATURE, no hoarding either !!!

It is us, the INTELLIGENT being, MAN, that kills for the sake of KILLING. We needlessly prey on each other. WHY????

Let us learn from this LITTLE CHILD to stop the KILLINGS. I've typed the EXTREMELY MOVING lyrics below.

If you write to me at: aires.mario@gmail.com I'll send you the original video sung by the 9 year old boy stating and BEGGING US to become FRIENDS of each other.

He states thus:
"In my dreams, Children sing. A song of love for every boy & girl. The sky is blue. The fields are green. And, laughter is the language of the world. Then I wake; and, all I see, is a world full of people in need. Tell me why, does it have to be like this???? Tell me why, is there something I have missed???? Tell me why 'cause I don't understand, when so many need somebody we don't give a helping hand. TELL ME WHY????
Everyday, I ask myself what will I have to do to be a man. Do I have, to stand and fight to prove to everybody who I am. Is that what my life is for???? To waste in a world full of war.???? TELL ME WHY ... does it have to be like this. Tell me why... is there something I have missed???? Tell me why 'cause I don't understand, when so many need somebody we don't give a helping hand???? Tell me why... tell me why... tell me why.... JUST TELL ME WHY!!!! Tell me why, does it have to be like this???? Tell me why, is there, something I have missed???? Tell me why 'cause I don't understand, when so many need somebody we don't give a helping hand.
Tell me why.... why why does the tiger run? Tell me why. Why why do we shoot the gun? Tell me why. Why why do we never learn???? Can someone tell us why we let the forests burn. Why why do we say: "WE CAN"???? Tell me why. Why why is it still the same???? Tell me why. Why why do we talk & run. Can someone tell us why we let the ocean die???? Why why do we always say, tell me why. Why why do we pass the blame????Tell me why. Why why does it never rain????
CAN SOMEONE TELL US WHY WE CANNOT JUST BE FRIENDS???? Why why do we close our eyes???? Why why do we breath and die???? Why why do we fight for land??? Can someone tell us why 'cause we don't understand. Why why????

Hallo Mario
This week time is critical; however...............................These Snowy owls eyes always draw one closer like a magnet. I also find the fluff that covers the body and especially on the paws very soft and very warm looking. Kind regards and thanks for sharing.
Anna
Ps. I found the words of the song that you make mention of in your notes very touching. It was beautiful to listen to.

Hi, dear Mario.
Thanks for so nice shot and lovely note. I like both of them so much. You have taken a wonderful shot. I like great exposure and colour reproduction of the feathers scene, excellent details and very good sharpness of the image, nicer composition and framing of the shot. Your note is great too. Bravo and kind regards.
Alexei.
P.S. Unfortunately, I am very busy this time and have not opportunity to take active part in TN life. Except of that we began to spend a lot of time in our countryside house where is not Internet. However, I am with you.

Gorgeous photo, Mario! Just beautiful. I haven't been around much - sorry I missed so many fine photos!

Hi Mario,
The first thing which came into my mind while seeing this Snowy Owl and the title of the pic was different: the Beaver Creek, CO downhill ski course, because the upper section of it is also called 'Birds Of Prey'.
Great exposure, no OE on the bird. Nice pic, but a vertical composition would have been a better choice by my opinion. Too bad there are bright lines beside the owl (fence?). The centered placing of the bird also isn't the luckiest.
I'm sorry, but tfs. Best wishes, László
