Today's upload I call "Those Wonderful Little Kits" and the reason apart from the very beauty of them is just how much fun they are to watch play fighting and romping around all over the area of their den site.Today and yesterday I took nearly 1000 photos of all of the members of the two families living within 80 feet of each other. In this photo I show three of the 11 kits that I have seen and the one in the middle is the rare morph version called a Silver Fox flanked by the more common Red Fox coloured pair.I will upload more of these and the rest of the families as I know most people rather enjoy young animals of most species as do I.The play they engage in helps make them strong, agile, fast and well prepared for life as a top predator of mice, ground squirrels and birds when they can catch them.I really hope in particular to photo the Silver Fox until it has become fully grown as it is the only one that I have ever seen and I have seen many dozens of foxes in my life. There is another morph variety called the "cross fox" that I would love to see as well even though that variation is much less rare than that of the Silver Fox. According to Weaselhead.Org the distribution is 80% red coloured, about 18% cross fox and around 2% black or Silver Fox pelage. No matter what the colour foxes may sport I think they are real beauties and as adults as well.PP was done using Paint.Net

Hello Bob, my neighbour!
Superb capture of these cheeky-looking Red Fox cubs that have a 'black sheep' in the family! I love the pose and expressions and the composition against the grassy BG is great.
A magnificent capture that goes into my favourites!
TFS!
Have a good weekend,
Ivan

O my god, this gets better and better, TFS Ori

Hello Bob,

This is like part2 of a very interesting drama!
What an engaging shot! Three is such a perfect number for composition and they look so mischievous! I want to add the analogy: say no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil!
Superb details of these fluffy little characters and the composition is fine!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Bob,
Not only wonderful little kids, but also a wonderful moment captured. I love the different looks on each of them. Awesome details and light. I'm just wondering where their mom is.
TFS,
Niek

Hard to pass this one by bob...did they do as you told them or did you just get real lucky:-) ? Very well seen my friend from the not too far north. I know James P is up there last I heard and I hope you are keeping the weather nice for his visit..

Hello Bob,
What a lovely and well-timed capture of these cheeky-looking cubs getting ready for the nxt mischief! I love their sharp little eyes and you've caught them from a nice low POV. Very interesting to see the black one too - I've seen Silver Foxes in captivity but they looked quite different. This one is superb!
Very well done!
Many thanks and regards, Ulla

Hola Bob.
La foto es muy bella, los cachorros parecen muy inquietos, sin embargo lucen confiados y no molesta su presencia en el lugar.
Fina foto, agradables colores y alta nitidez.
Saludos
Luis52.

Really interesting to see Bob. A rare catch. Trevor

I am grateful to you that you post such fantastic pictures of these fox families as foxes are to me among the most beautiful animals. As you see, looking at kits pictures is a real pleasure as they are so cute, I wish I could see as many of them as you see and have half the patience you have to go out and observe them. This is a great photographic report! thank you,

Francine

Cute is not the word, Bob.
They are absolutely adorable.
You managed to catch them in a still moment.
They are so curious... Wonderful expressions on their faces.
Great light and focus.
TFS. : )

Hallo Bob
What an adorable, endearing and cute little threesome. This is definitely a photo to ooh and aah about. It has a high cuteness factor, with these foxes and their childlike faces. This is a stunning photograph and deserves a round of applause. I like the big black eyes, the longish whiskers, their round dark brown snouts and the white tips on the end of their tails. I appreciated and enjoyed this one tremendously.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna
