Lots of attitude, that's why they are an interesting subject. They pose in different ways, not a normal sitting bird.

Une photo amusante, René. Un vrai personnage que ce merle aux épaulettes rouges (que nous n'avons pas). Très bien vu, pose étonnante, détails parfaits pour une photo difficile compte tenu du ciel éclatant derrière un sujet très foncé.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Dès que la photo s'est ouverte, j'ai éclaté de rire! Est bonne, est bonne, comme on dit par chez nous. Les couleurs sont pétantes, j'allais dire de santé... La branche en diagonal, la lumière dans l'oeil, les contrastes et la position sur l'arbre. Belle composition et image hilarante! Je vous l'emprunte comme favorite.

Great shot Rene, you sure brought out the color of red to this picture, they are wonderful bird, although a little hard to get close to sometimes.
