Nursery Web Spider

Hi Folks , I found this spider sitting on a dandelion , it was kind enough to just wait while I got a few shots.
still trying out the tc20II tele-converter , I am not so sure how much I like it , I still feel that I am losing some detail compared to the macro lens itself , but perhaps I am looking for to much , or just need to get used to it. I have been shooting handheld so maybe I should give the tripod a try. I am not much on using one though , lots of stuff can fly away long before I have my camera ready... I have a decent manfrotto , it would probably be good to put it to use.
I am not certain as to what type of spider this is , any suggestions would be appreciated.
EDIT: I stumbled across an image depicting this spider with the name nursery web spider , Pisaura mirabilis.
thanks for stopping in
regards

Hello Art,
Only marking today, no time.

Hi Art, this is excellent, perfect little spider well captured. The details are superb and the clarity of the body parts and hairs is excellent. Probably one of your best shots and now on my favourite list. regards h
Hallo Art
The patterns and markings on this spider are very clear and obvious, it has such a slender body and I was wondering if this spider has 10 legs and not 8 like I have learnt. Is the 2 very short ones in the front near its face also legs? How wonderful is this site to share images, compare them and learn about all the different types of a kind. What a great planet with strange beauties. Your image of the spider is worlds apart from my image of a spider I placed a while ago. But they both remain spiders.Beautiful flower you have captured it on. Thanks for sharing. Much appreciated.
Kind regards
Anna
