Funny how the big smoke has affected the trilliums down there. The ones in my backyard growing by the huge maple are white, interesting eh?
Just kidding, execelent shot and well done on this composition. I've never seen dark ones before, the ones growing here are all white. there are Dog's foot around too, I should see if theye are still up and if so, I'll capture some.
Excelent work.

I love the wild flowers and learning the various ways that they manage to get pollinated. This is a beautiful capture and really shows it off.

Interesting note indeed!
I like this photo, I think had you used a tripod, it would have been a little crisper.

Hi Linda,
How unusual, I think I've seen the flower before but I've never heard the name. I understand the 'stinking' part but what of 'Benjamin'? Any idea how it came to have such a name? Very nice shot you have here, nice low POV showing the ground falling away behind and excellent natural colours. Good detail and good note, a great post!
Regards,
Adrian
