Hello Asbed, this is a great portrait of this male Wood Duck. The capture of that eye is excellent. You seem to have it unawares, with it providing you a good side portraiture. Colour and detail on the duck is very good.

You should try to do some red eye reduction on this guy. :) Very cool green and blue color on his head. Nice detail, pity that it's behind the rock that we couldn't see the whole image of it.

Hello Asbed,
I can understand why you like to photograph the Wood Duck. This close capture of the male shows the head and neck in full splendour. Superb sharp capture of the iridescent colours contrasting well against the dry sunlit forest floor BG.
The red ring round the eye shows well and forms a good focal point for the image.
