My "NEIGHBOURS". = FINCHES & SPARROWS.
Every Spring & Summer these beautiful birds adorn our home with their presence. "THE KISS OF LIFE". The Emerald Cedar in the frontyard holds a living, breathing "A PURPLE FINCH, a baby". They have nested there again, this year, 2008. Four eggs, 3 babies (finch) have hatched this year 2008. The Sparrows... I've lost count.
The North Amercan Robin also nests within 'our' bushes this year of 2008. Here is the male: "WELCOME VISITOR".
A baby Magpie says: "Hello".
The Raven in: "BLUE EYED BABY RAVEN" and the Woodpecker .... ditto. Will someday place "our" woodpeckers within this posting series. We called the babies our clowns. CLOWN.
The Squirrel is a sight for sore eyes. "SQUIRREL".
What else can a man ask for in this life??? We are also within walking distance to the Bow River via the LAWERY GARDENS NATURAL AREA, so full of deer & other wild life. We live as "KINGS" do, though Kings of nothing.
Even the Apple tree in the frontyard displays: "An African Grey Congo".
THIS IS "OUR" PARADISE. We are sharing it with you.

Your wonderful lessons are a marvel and take yo some thinking to do....and they are always superb...and no I don't mind that you copyed my video...I feel honoured that someone would care enough. I am a very passionate man when it comes to two or three things..depending on time and order..photography, music, women and beer:-) Actually that's four things...so it matches your four fine images..
Bob

Hi, dear Mario.
I like your neighbors so much. They are so cute and decorate our life a lot. Very nice collage and selection of included shots. Colours of the images, lights and details are great. Note, as usual, is very nice too. My greetings from already hot Odessa.
Alexei.
Hi Mario,
Another beautiful collage, I'm surprised it has so few points yet. Great captures, I especially like the one on the top right. Wonderful set, congrats, and also thanx for the poetical note with full of links. Your neighbours are quite pretty, especially the way You show them.
A little bit back to Your fungi collage: remember, I also didn't say it 100% shows Tricholomopsis rutilans. It also may be something from Russulaceae family (T. rutilans belongs to Tricholomataceae). But it's absolutely sure that one isn't an Armillaria, the habit of the fungi is very different.
Friendly regards, László
What a lovely set of photos - each standing alone as a great shot. How have you been?
