I like this image capture; the bird is sharp against the background.
I wish i'd used a longer lens, but 70mm had to do.
Birds have assimilated into urban society in many ways, in this case, eating crumbs from a fruit pastry. I've heard stories from the UK where birds are imitating ring tones of telephones. (shall we start "trek audio .com?)

Very clear shot. It looks close to a Lark Sparrow but not quite. At least you got a good side portrait. I checked two bird books trying to find him and couldn't. Must be a type of Sparrow though. He's got a dumb (doh-doh) look to him. Worth keeping around. LOL TFS. Trevor
