Hi Francine,
it is great to hear how much you loved exploring the shoreline here, on day perhaps you can explore my stretch of coast too, i think you would love it!
I very much like your composition here and the mix of colours and shapes amongst the rocks is great, set agains that pale blue cloudy sky and sea. Refreshing and very peaceful image, thanks for sharing it. Great notes as ever..

If I understand fractals correctly, then I can see exactly what you're talking about. The similarity in patterns but not mathematically and totally the same but roughly..almost as in the Pangaea notion working in fast time. Very neat. Great gear and a nice mix of a relatively new science of the late 20th Century and imagery!

Hi Francine
A lovely composition - I like the diagonal thrust of the rocks and their rounded forms - they contrast so well with the horizontal clouds. Lovely work.

Hi Francine,
Another unbelievably beautiful sight! I think I have fallen in love with the St. Lawrence landscapes through your pictures. The colors of the rocks, the sea, and the sky are gorgeous. Fine details of the rocks and even of the clouds in the sky. A magnificent composition.

Hi Francine,
I love the minimalistic approach to this photo. Its allows the full focus on what is important. The way the shapes of the rock return in the clouds and how the cool blue colors contrast with the warm stones is wonderful.

Hi Francine,
A very beautiful shot...Yes, nature has her own terms, if you look at what you say from another perspective.Leaving that part there, I love this landscape...This looks like a postcard, so serene, calm, at peace..
TFS!

Hi Francine!
You present us a peaceful and lyrical picture, held in delightful pastel tones. As you mentioned in your notes, the repetition of the patterns is amazing. I love pictures with stones and rocks, and yours remembers me some silent walks along the shore in the early morning, before breakfast and before the first people arrive...
Kind regards
Markus

Hi Francine,
Very interesting to note the patterns and formations..it must have been quite an enjoyable visit to this place...and i guess these kind of formation are not quite common..for instance i dont think we see that often in India. The geography , the climate etc must have a lot to do with these formations isnt it....nice PoV, excellent capture of subtle rock colours and superb DoF ...
The blue of the sea and the sky merge most beautifully..
Thanks and cheers

Hello Francine,
I love rocks and stones and you've captured these interesting rocks very nicely from a low POV showing sharp details and with the sea and beautiful cloud formations in the background. Good light too and very well composed. Excellent!
TFS and regards, Ulla
