Silver Fox Kit,The Boss? That is the question as it appears to me that this little kit fox may very well be the dominate kit out of the group of 11 kits that I have photoed to death since I first saw them two weeks or so ago. This little creature is very scrappy and not in the least bit shy about my being near to it as all the rest are more or less shy by comparison. The advantage for me is I have got the best detailed shots of foxes I have ever got and every time I shoot them as well.I had one of the little kits walk right up to where I was standing and look at me within 8 feet from where I was standing and that was a very wonderful experience indeed. This Silver Fox is a black coloured morph variation of the Red Fox and is very rare to see in this area of the world and is the first one I have ever seen.I hope you like this little one and know that he or she is doing fine and keeps all the rest in check.PP was done using Paint.Net.

Hi Bob , another great shot of this lovely fox , glad that you have been enjoying them , I have only looked on a bit in passing, have not gotten back for a second round :-) , I did however see one of the adults up the road with a big old ground squirrel , it seemed quite proud of itself ;-) , unfortunately no camera at the time...

thanks for sharing it

regards

Hi Bob
Another great shot of the little guys. That must be really cool to be able to watch them as they grow up.
Thanks for sharing these great shots.

Hi Bob,
Foxes are quite the kind of animals that i have always seen in TN and not in real life..and black coloured one ...is one i 've n'ver seen in real life...this is a very cheeky fox who is looking at you...yes familiarity must have been a big factor here for the kit as you had been following the group for a long time...superb details..
TFS & cheers

Fantastic, Bob, I just love those pictures you take. It reminds me of the movie Never Cry Wolf except that you take pictures of foxes and won't be eating the way they eat... well, I hope not! But I am sure it will be one of the most fantastic experience of your lifetime to be able to follow this fox family and take pictures. They must be getting used to you by now, I am sure you will get closer soon. Thanks for caring so much, it really shows in your pictures. This is the most exquisite little puppy I have seen in years! Thank you so much for the enjoyment,

Francine
