| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi Folks , today I have this small skipper called an arctic skipper , it is common throughout Canada found mostly on wooded pathways , or clearings , some times in grass land , it prefers damp areas. it can be found from May to mid July.
this one I believe is a male , it will sit in the grass waiting for a female to pass then pursue her. this butterfly has one generation per year.
thanks for stopping in
regards

Art,
I cannot give you a decent critique as I don't photograph insects and such. (I might actually give it a try this year but so far I've been too busy to even think about it). However, I like you how composed this shot, you've got great detail and very good sharpness. Overall, its a very enjoyable shot. TFS.
Best Regards,
Martin

Hello ARt, The POV is fine as I can see the eyes but the focus is slightly OOF on the wings side. From the shot it appears that you had difficulty in reaching the fly. Ganesh
Hi Art
TFS this lovely fellow. Nice POV and well composed and framed.
