[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello All , today will be my very first dedication photo , for all of the good folks here on TrekNature.

A big Thank you , for the time you have spent commenting on my photographs , the kind compliments , positive reinforcement , and helpful suggestions. And of course a great big thank you for sharing all of your beautiful and inspiring photographs.

as well a large thank you to the TrekNature site , an amazing repository of both photographic , and natural knowledge , and host to a wonderful , and positive international community.

Also being a milestone , this is my 100th upload here on TN and my 100th day of membership. :-)

The Wild Rose , this flower has several varieties , which exactly this is I am not sure , also know as wild prairie rose. It is the official provincial flower here in Alberta Canada , as well as state flower in a number of U.S. states. A very quick flower , I had not even noticed the bushes had budded up till I seen this flower , my first of the year. very quickly the bushes will be covered in them. A welcome splash of color to decorate my favorite woods.

This is a very fine shot of a very delicate looking flower. I really like the natural colours and soft light. Great level of detail and a solid composition.
