Hallo Martin
Superb display of colour. Excellent camera work and a real feast to the eye. Every little detail is just great. From the fine feathers on the head, right down to the paws clutching onto the branch. It is amazing how perfect the shape and patterns back feathers are, as if each one was painted by hand. This is really outstanding. Good focus and framing, presented in a delightful manner. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Martin

It looks like Mr. Blue just came out of the hair salon with that fancy do.

A lovely capture with excellent details, spot-on exposure levels, and splendid natural colours. The BG with the OOF autumnal hues worked very well for this shot as it stands in stark contrast to the colour of the Blue Jay. The bird is a beauty, probably a relative young adult, and I just love the spotless image of this specimen as well as the little catch light.

I can very well relate to the crunch of time you are facing...i want to go out take shots, and spend time in TN, but i am not able to do as much as i would like to, and these past few weeks have been really bad.I am expecting the situation to continue for another couple of months.Coming here is such a relaxing experience.

Great shot of this Blue Jay that you finally dug out of your archives. I like that gelled up hair set in style.The catchlight just perfect even as a shadow is slowly creeping on his face. The yellow well muted autumn Bg compliments the subject and brings in more light to the composition.The play of light and shade is quite striking rather than being obstructive.I really like this spur of the moment shot.Good lighting, colours and contrasts with excellent DOF .Well done.
