[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Folks , today I have this shield bug , also known as a stink bug named this because they have gland that releases a smell liquid if they are disturbed by predator (or unsuspecting human;-) , no worries , I got in and out with this not so little insect with out a sniff :-D

I followed this one around a while before it stopped and gave me a little smile . when it flew it's wings made a clicking sound similar to some grasshoppers.

thanks for stopping in
regards
Art

Hello Art,
Brilliant macro of this Shield bug in a fine position on theleaf. Sharp details, natural colours and a beautiful dark green background that makes it really stand out. Well composed too.
TFS and have a nice weekend, Ulla
