[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"RICHARDSON'S GROUND SQUIRREL".

Had, in reality, gone to register "Cave Swallows" within the Weasalhead park in Calgary, Alberta when I noticed this friendly species chattering away. It "seemed" that it wanted me to approach it. And, I did. Had the tele lens mounted on the Sony DSC-H9 and because I was so very close to the subject I was unable to use it. After all, my real mission had been to capture the BEAUTIFUL swallows. So, instead, I removed the DSC-H60 from the bag and clicked; it was not frightened at all. Stepped closer & closer, always clicking away. Could not believe my luck!!! In the end I knelt on the ground placing the little camera right into its tiny cute face with the Macro "on" and registered this one "as is".

WHAT A LOVELY DAY.

And when I got into the valley, again I had a wonderful time registering the swallows that I've shared with you in the last few days.

Nice story from your photo life. How nice to have two cameras : ))). Cute animal, impressive eye-contact and pictured scenery at whole. I like vivid colours of the shot. Farming is not very exact but is not a point. My best wishes and kind regards.
