hello dear friends, here is another photo from my series
of a pair of Mallard Ducks taking their bath separetly,

and i had found this link on the Mallard Duck

from the National Geographic website :

http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals/birds/mallard-duck.html

from that link here is somes notes on the mallard :

« Mallards prefer calm, shallow sanctuaries, but can be found
in almost any body of freshwater across Asia, Europe,
and North America. They’re also found in saltwater and
brackish water and are commonly found in wetlands.

Mallard groups can often be seen head dipping or
completely upending in the water. They rarely dive though,
spending their time near the surface and dabbling for
invertebrates, fish, amphibians, and a variety of plants.
They also graze on land, feeding on grains and plants.

Did you know? Mallards are thought to be
the most abundant duck on Earth. »

merci

ahhh so good you conti8ue the series...I think it is important. Ram does this well indeed as you do. Take a good series and forgetting whether it is worth points but more important to get the whole series in...and it gives a complete lesson! Fine shooting Asbed!
Bob

Dear Asbed,
Grand & splendid capture with natural water splash. TFS.
Regards-Subhash

Asbed,

This picture reminds me of my start into wildlife photography. I went out to the local park and started shooting a duck doing the same thing - taking a bath. The rest is history as they say. The bug never went away.
You've done very well here. I like the action and motion of the wings. Very nicely done Asbed.

Best Regards,

Martin

Hallo Asbed
Due to the fact that I have been ill, I just could not give my comments to some of the lovely images that appeared and past me by on the gallery. Now I have such a lot of catching up to do so please pardon me for only saying……………………
Great action image. It is indeed a feast to the eye and it did not go unnoticed. This waterbird really seems to be having a ball of a time in the water. Detail of the water droplets are displayed well.
Best regards
Anna
