[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of 8 Snowshoe Hares behind my grocery store. He'll actually wait for me to take the picture now. LOL He's usually behind a branch and I get a poor shot of him. He spends the summer eating 6" tree's leaves. He eats the odd bit of grass as well. In the winter he'll eat an entire white-pine tree which will sustain him next to his den so he doesn't have to go far in snow that's deep.
