He does look a bit on the old side Mario. I think you are quite right...and although he lies in the shade, I can still make out the details...the horns are very nice...My goodness what a weight they carry around eh? I always appreciate your images and I am so glad you have the time now to share them.

Hi Mario
This portrait is awesome. The lighting is nice and soft and you have a great view of his mighty horns. He looks so cozy in the grass. Really nice Mario A+

TFS Janice

PS did you go to Writing On Stone? If so how was it?

Namastay Mario,
A very good capture of this beautiful big horned sheep. Very good details and a nice composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi, dear Mario.
Excellent shot of the cute animal. Despite the deep shadow details and sharpness are superb as well as the colour tone reproduction. I like quiet pose of the sheep, nice green grass as surroundings and perfect composition of the image. My kind wishes and TFS.
Alexei.

He sure looks cozy but not too excited about having the paparazzi interrupt chill time. ha ha

Sorry about the European trip.

This is a nice shot. Composition is excellent and I like the fact that you can see some detail in the horn. I think you could increase the exposure a bit without over-exposing the white on the sheep. I would like to give it a try in Workshop.

HI Mario,
Nice capture of the Northern Dall Sheep.
While the sheep looks relaxed and quite rested in the meadow, th meadow seems to be coming alive quite near to the hseep. I like the slanting rays of sun that is seen by the side of the sheep in the BG.

The sunlight filterng through creates a wonderful effect on the whole capture. The sheep itself looks quite wonderful and seem to be in a pensive mood.Fine PoV and DoF.The horns are quite impressive and adds a grandeur to the sheep altogether.
Very well done.

TFS & Cheers
