[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi folks , today I am sharing this butterfly found feeding on an aster , again having trouble finding an exact name for this insect , I am hoping to stumble my way on to a good site for ID'ing butterflies , butterfly is not the most effective google search word :-)

when I am having a little more time I will search here on TN to see if I can find this one , and will update my posting as soon as a stumble on the name ;-)

I am sure the front profile is not of much use to the folks helpful at ID but it was mt favorite photo of this one :-)

thanks for stopping in
regards
Art

Hi,
On the road, just marking excellent pictures.
Thanks
Pekka

The frontal view is unusual but effective. Your aster is so sharp and makes a wonderful pedestal for your butterfly. The colors are rich and the OOF background is lovely.
