I wanted to show you the amazing sunset I told you about on my last post. While what you saw on the last post was looking east, a moment later, right in front of us, there was this outstanding view of three suns... we suddenly were in another world, with tormented whirls of clouds hiding three suns fighting with all their might to remain alive. ;-)

In short, the sunset might have lasted half an hour, we didn't share a word but just looked, contemplated, breathed. The calmness of the water was amazing and once in a while, a bird would fly accross the "frame". We were standing on a small wooden balcony that's been built right on the slope of the island falling onto the shore. The view is breattaking and I can imagine when they watch the whales, right from that balcony.

Meeting a whale is one of the most amazing experience I have lived. It's man meeting another world, a living creature, intelligent and sensitive, coming from out of the depth of the water. When you look at its eye seeing you, goose bumps run along your spine.

I meant to post that picture of the sunsetting also because I will be starting to work on Monday, from home, typing court hearings for stenographs. They call it "copist" work. I wish myself luck with my hands, I only hope that long hours of typing won't hurt too much... and that I will be able to work from home instead of having to go out five days a week... with fibromyalgia, it's not possible to do that.

So, the sunsets on a part of my life to rise on another. It does that every days doesn't it?

Thank you!

Francine

bonjour Francine

Did I say that you write well, Francine?
Honestly, I always read your note first. Then I look at the picture.
This kind of sunset ought to be "felt", not just "seen".
As such, no words would be adequate to assess its appeal; cliches would merely outrage its dignity.
Thanks and take it easy on the work front.
Regards.

Salut Francine!
