"BEAUTIFUL as a PEACOCK".

Who could say, under normal conditions, that this creature is so uncommonly BEAUTIFUL.

What is it???

It is NOT A BEE FLY.

It is NOT A ROBBER FLY

Is it a Hover Fly ???

Or is it a Common House Fly, (Musca domestica) which I strongly believe it is???

It is surely VERY similar to the one you are viewing.

Correction on name:Namastay Mario,
This is a green bottle fly. Well captured with good details and a nice red BG. But I think Bob is right about the saturation and now it looks OK to me in the WS. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Sincerely
Haraprasan

P.S.
My friend Bob is right. This image is OVER SATURATED.
I've minused the saturation by 2 points.
Here is the NEW ONE.

Heavily saturated which gives it an overall unusual and unique look. Quite the new style of imaging you have my good friend from N of the "Border". Tis a common fly to me, but looks as if it could be something of character!

Hi Mario, dear friend.
I welcome your macro shot image of the fly. It is great experience. Colours, details and framing are excellent. Image is soft a bit but it is not a point. My best wishes and kind regards.
Alexei.

Hi Mario, Regardless of the saturation, it is a good macro of a small fly. Nice detail. I like the eye.
