As large as a big gull, the Caspian Tern is the largest tern in the world. Its large coral red bill makes it one of the most easily identified terns throughout its worldwide range.

A very nice wingspan. Good focus and speed settings.

This is a lovely capture of a tern Mario. I love the wing shapes and the angled head. Wonderful detail and sharpness. The orange beak makes a great focal point.

Hi Mario,

the summum of bird photography here. And you had to deal with a white species, all the problems of overexposure you had to master. Just perfect. The great pose! My congratulations to this magnificient shot.

So you have the Caspian tern in Ontario too, I did'nt realize its wide distribution (I saw them first in Finland, then on the Caspian sea).
