Hi Folks , another grasshopper from the Alberta bad lands , the same type as in my last upload , not sure of its exact name...
I decided to go with this image today in response to a couple of comments on my last image upload expressing a desire to see the side view of this insect , I had one , so here it is :-)

What a fine camouflage-coloured Grasshopper very nicely captured here. Good focus and excellent details that stand out clearly from the stones in the background. Well composed too.

Hello Art,
nice that you discovered this interestingly coloured grasshopper which
is probably hard to recognize in this stony habitat. Due to camouflage and the irritating
pattern you can hardly see that you present the specimen with high sharpness.

very nice shot, i have never seen a grass hopper like this, it looks like made of stone, may be it helps in hiding, how has you spotted him? liked the sharp image with good details, nice composition too,

Thank you Art, This is a superb side view. Excellent shot. I just wonder how you managed to spot this fella. Look at the wing color and the rock. They look alike. Superb shot. Ganesh
