Hi Art.
Cute red dragonfly is looked on an impressive stem excellently. POV is selected very well. And composition of the image is excellent. DOF (and aperture value) is perfect. All subject is in focus and remote BG is well blurred. My kind wishes and TFS.

Hello Art.
Very sharp picture,nice color to.
Very nice work.
Hi Art,
Nice, clear photo, with a very subdued background. What is the half circle at the upper right? Perhaps, it’s a pesky reflection. The dragonfly sure looks like a Cherry-faced meadowhawk or Sympetrum internum. Your photo looks a bit different from the ones I have taken of Ruby meadowhawks (Sympetrum rubicundulum). The Ruby ones (the males, at least) have red bodies, brown thoraxes, and bluish-green faces – with red eyes. The young Rubys have light brown bodies. There is some suggestion, although I haven’t confirmed this, that females stay brown. My photos show two yellow diamonds on the black spots on the sides of the males, while your photo only shows black spots. Your specimen looks like it is a male, because of the angular, as opposed to smoothly-rounded abdomen – there are other ways of telling, but that is the characteristic that I look for. Thanks for posting!
I noticed after I wrote this that you posted a Ruby meadowhawk also. I haven't yet posted mine.
John
