Hello Yves
You're bring back memories here. Darnley Beach was one of my favorite beaches when I live in PEI. I can still hear the waves crashing against the shore. I was stung by a jelly fish at Darnley...hurt like heck.
I love the rock formation against the blue sky. A nice composition of ocean, waves and the gorgeous dark red rock and earth.

Hi Yves,
If you wrote that you took this photo somewhere in the middle east or Africa, I would have believed it. I didn't know that these color rock were also this far north. The wind and water created some wonderful shapes and I can see why it is called Elephant's ear. Looking at the size of the wave and water drops, I think that this rock looks bigger in the photo than its actual size. Nice composistion with good details and exposure. The photo could use some more contrast, and it has a dust spot visable.
TFS,
Niek

I too am surprised that this is PEI... but there it is!! It is quite a dramatic arch and as frail as it looks probably won't be there much longer! Thanks for sharing such a sharp image of this coastal phenomenon.

Hello Yves,
What a fantastic view of these interesting eroded sandstone formations. I expect the waves are rather high here at times. I like your POV and the light and colours are beautiful. Fine sharp details too.

Hello Yves!
What a great panoramic view for so interesting and original rocks! I like their shapes a lot! The process of erosion made a wonderful work in this place, and you showed us the final result :>
Thank you for showing this interesting place!
